Kim's Birthday Cake - August 2010

I made Kim's birthday cake. It was a white chocolate cake with white chocolate frosting. The filling was white chocolate mouse with fresh raspberries. It was 4 tiers, and hard to stack. The frosting wasn't spreading very well either. But it was delicious!

Brian and Kim's Wedding Cake

I made Brian and Kim's wedding cake. They wanted an octagone shape and 3 teirs (8 and 3 are good luck numbers in China). Their wedding colors were red and black. The topper was made in Hong Kong. I used my cake cricut to cut the images out. The flavors were bottome layer: white cake with raspberyy filling, middle layer: chocolate cake with coconut filling, top layer: chocolate cake with easy cream filling )cool whip, chocolate chops, and coconut). Brian and Kim took the top layer on their homeymoon.

Bryant's Birthday Cake - July 2010

Henry is the Young Mens president in our ward. This year the priests and teachers went on a 50 mile hike for their scout camp. One of the boys birthday was while they were on the campout. Henry took a cake up to celebrate his birthday.

Kyle's Birthday Party Cake - January 2010

For Kyle's birthday party I made a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse cake. Kyle actually picked the cake he wanted. It is iced with buttercream and then I used fondant to make the clubhouse and lettering.

Kyle and Melissa's Birthday Cake - January 2010

Kyle's birthday is the 17th and Melissa's birthday is the 18th (my niece). So on the 17th we did the family party for both of them. I made a cake for them both to share. I made this candy cake. The whole thing was supposed to be fondant but our family does not like fondant. So we bought real lollipops (1 for each kid) real candy disks, and real spice drops. It was a really easy cake.

Mom's Birthday Cake - December 2009

This is the cake I made for Mom's birthday. It was a white chocolate cake with raspberry filling and white chocolate frosting. The cake was denser than I usually like it but the flavor was really good. The frosting was the best part (Henry always says that the cake is just what holds up the frosting). I just shaved some white chocolate and sprinkled it on the top. Pretty simple, but sooo good!
