I made a cake for our family reunion. It had our logo for the reunion on it (the Denver skyline because the reunion was in Denver and the HE'11STROM at the top). This was the logo we had on all the Amazing Race clues. I did half white cake with raspberry filling and the other half chocolate cake with coconut filling. This was before all the little fingers got to the cake :)

Kyle's Half Birthday Cake - July 2011
We decided we would start celebrating Kyle's half birthday with his friends, and his actual birthday with family. It is much easier to plan a birthday party in warm weather :). Kyle had been taking swimming lessons this summer and wanted a water park birthday party. I made a cake to look like a water park. It was a 3 tier cake and their were slides going down to each tier. The boats were made of chocolate and the people were made of fondant. It was 100 degrees on the day of the party (the only day we hit 100 of course) and the boats melted before I could get them on the cake. We lost over 1/2 of them :(. Live and learn! Kyle insisted on having sharks in the water.
Wolfe Family Eagle Scout Court of Honor Cake - June 2011
I made the Eagle Scout Court of Honor cake for Andrew and Tim Wolfe. Because it was a cake for 2 scouts, I was not able to personalize it and do the merit badges. I still had the eagle medal in edible image.
Andrew Metanias' Eagle Scout Court of Honor Cake - March 2011
I made the cake for Andrew Metanias' Eagle Scout Court of Honor. I wanted it to be personalized for him, so I made edible images of all the merit badges he earned on his way to eagle. I place these on fondant and placed them around the edge of the cake. I also made an edible image of the eagle medal.
Harker Wedding Cake - November 2010
I made the wedding cake for someone in our ward who got married. They were really easy to work with and did not know what they wanted for a cake. All I new was they wanted chocolate cake with chocolate filling. I did a chocoalte cake with a chocolate whipped pudding filling. They needed a 4 tier cake for the number of people attending. I did white fondant with a purple ribbon around the bottom (purple was one of their wedding colors). We used yellow tulips to decorate around the cake. Thanks to Cori Holloway and her friend Charlotte Rowley for helping me roll the fondant! This was one of my best wedding cakes to date.
Mary's Birthday Cupcake Tower - October 2010
I made this cupcake tower for Mary's suprise birthday party. The theme was the 80's. I frosted the cupcakes yellow and used fondant to make the shapes. I tinted the fondant neon colors, cut out the shapes, then used a fondant glue to glue the pices together. After they dried, I used the glue to glue a toothpick to the back. Then at the party I put a pick in each cupcake. The top cupcake had "80's" written on the shapes (also in fondant).
